Everyday Choices. Greater Impact. Our 2026 ESG Half-Year Update
‍

At goodnus, we believe the small choices we make every day can have a big impact. From reducing waste and supporting local communities to working with partners who share our values, sustainability continues to be at the heart of what we do.
‍

Our latest Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Impact Report – Half-Year Update 2026 highlights the progress we're making towards more sustainable workplaces. And what better way to bring some of these initiatives to life than at the 2026 Planet Mark Sustainability Summit at London's Barbican Centre!
‍

Bringing Sustainability to Life at Planet Mark‍

We recently had the pleasure of exhibiting at the 2026 Planet Mark Sustainability Summit, joining businesses and organisations committed to making a positive environmental and social impact.

We showcased our Too Good to Waste initiative by serving homemade 'wonky fruit' smoothies, giving perfectly good fruit a second purpose rather than letting it go to waste.

Served in reusable milk bottles, our smoothies featured delicious combinations of Cotteswold Dairy milk, Tims Dairy yoghurt, MOMA oat milk, Coconut Collab yoghurt and, of course, our own fruit!

It was a great opportunity to share what we're doing at goodnus, exchange ideas and see how other businesses are making sustainability part of their everyday operations.

‍

Less Waste. More Opportunity.‍

Reducing waste remains a key focus for us, and our latest ESG update highlights some encouraging progress.

We've recycled 90 tonnes of cardboard, putting us on track to double the amount we baled last year.

Our Too Good to Waste initiative is also continuing to grow. From smoothie pop-ups like Planet Mark to redistributing surplus fruit to local communities, we're finding practical ways to make better use of the resources we already have.

We're now forecasting 28 tonnes of fruit donations this year, up from 16 tonnes in the previous reporting period.

‍

Partnerships That Make a Difference.‍

Sustainability isn't just about reducing our environmental impact. It's also about supporting the people and communities around us.

Our partnership with SEND Coffee continues to grow, helping young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities develop valuable skills and access employment opportunities.

With our annual spend projected to reach £170,000, we're demonstrating how everyday purchasing decisions can create meaningful social value.

‍

Together, We Go Further.‍

From the products we source to the way we store, deliver and replenish them, we're constantly looking for opportunities to reduce waste, lower emissions and make more responsible choices.

Events like the Planet Mark Sustainability Summit remind us how much can be achieved when businesses share ideas and work towards common goals.

And through initiatives like Too Good to Waste, our community partnerships and our continued investment in more sustainable operations, we're making progress one delivery, one partnership and one everyday choice at a time.
