Blue Monday is often labelled the “most depressing day of the year.”

Falling on the third Monday in January, it’s the point in the calendar where the festive glow has faded, the mornings are still dark, the weather is cold, and the motivation that fuelled those ambitious New Year’s resolutions can start to dip. For many workplaces, it can feel like the longest Monday of the year.

But at goodnus, we don’t believe any day has to be blue.

Turning a Tough Monday into a Treat

That’s why our team has been working through the night to deliver hundreds of complimentary snack boxes to offices and workplaces, all with one simple goal - to start the week with a smile.

Inside each box is a selection of feel-good favourites, designed to brighten desks, boost energy levels, and bring teams together for a small shared moment of positivity. Whether it’s a mid-morning pick-me-up, an afternoon chocolate break, or just an excuse to pause and chat with colleagues, we believe even the smallest gestures can make a meaningful difference.

Workplaces are about more than productivity, they’re about people. And sometimes, something as simple as sharing snacks around the team can lift the atmosphere across an entire office floor.

A Small Gesture, A Bigger Impact

January can be a challenging month. Budgets reset, targets refresh, and the natural slowdown after Christmas can affect energy and morale. But culture is built in small moments, in thoughtful surprises, in shared treats, in reminders that someone is thinking about you.

If you arrived at work this morning to find one of our Blue Monday snack boxes waiting for you, we genuinely hope it added a little brightness to your day.

Please make sure to share it with your team - the more smiles, the better!
