…every single time you or your team drink SEND Coffee in the office!

At goodnus we work tirelessly to provide our customers with the best and most sustainable products where possible, therefore we’ve been bursting with excitement to announce our latest partnership with SEND Coffee, who have a great story and do some amazing work!

SEND Coffee is a non-profit coffee roastery, with a collection of coffee shops that train young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Their coffee is sourced from a cooperative of family farms in the Fazenda Recreio region of São Paulo, Brazil. The Cooperative shares resources and importantly, works to ensure the price of their coffee is fair and sustainable.

SEND is a natural partner for goodnus, and although they are coffee roasters by experience, and their coffee is superb, they have achieved so much more with the opportunities they provide for young adults in and around London. This is something we are hugely passionate about ourselves.

Here’s a little bit more about SEND Coffee…

The SEND team work with young people for roughly 46 weeks in their own coffee shops, training them to be baristas. They are supported 1:1 by dedicated mentors, who are industry pros, including former café managers or qualified barista trainers. They ensure the beneficiaries learn the absolute best skills imaginable, to overcome any prejudices they may experience as a result of their disability.

After they graduate SEND Coffee further supports them whilst getting into suitable and sustainable employment. This training program is entirely funded by SEND Coffee through wholesaling coffee to other organisations.

We couldn’t wait to join forces with SEND Coffee, and hope you can join us in supporting the amazing work they do, with every single order of SEND Coffee that you place!

Finally, we love a great story here at goodnus, but we also love quality and can promise that SEND Coffee tastes amazing! Call us today to get your coffee beans with your next delivery.
