Striving for Sustainability… One Bale at a Time ♻️
Between January and May 2026, goodnus recycled over 30 tonnes of cardboard from our Essex distribution centre. It's just one part of how we're building sustainability into our daily operations — quietly, consistently, and at scale.

At goodnus sustainability isn’t something we just talk about, it’s built into our operations, logistics, and long-term business strategy.
Every month, after replenishing thousands of office kitchens and pantries across London, we backhaul, separate and bale large volumes of cardboard for recycling from our Essex distribution centre.
Between January - May 2026, we’ve now recycled over 30 tonnes of cardboard between, ensuring these materials are properly processed and returned back into the supply chain instead of ending up in landfill.
For our customers, this means:
♻️ Less waste to manage internally
🚛 Fewer waste collections required
📦 Thousands of boxes given another life
🌍 A lower overall carbon footprint
In food and beverage distribution, packaging is unavoidable, from inbound supplier deliveries to outbound customer orders. What matters most is what happens next.
At goodnus we don’t simply pass operational challenges onto our customers... we solve them.
A huge thank you to Edwards Recycling for continuing to support us in ensuring these materials are responsibly processed and given a second life.
Our sustainability progress continues to be independently reviewed by Planet Mark, helping ensure we remain accountable while continuously improving and reducing our Carbon Footprint.
