ESG Lunch & Learn Brings Sustainability Leaders Together at 40 Leadenhall
At goodnus, we believe our role extends far beyond supplying workplaces with food, drink and everyday essentials.
As a service-led business, we're always looking for ways to create additional value for our customers by sharing insight, encouraging collaboration and helping organisations identify practical ways to become more sustainable.
With this in mind, we were delighted to host our recent ESG Lunch & Learn at 40 Leadenhall, bringing together workplace leaders, occupiers and sustainability professionals for an engaging discussion around ESG, circular economy principles and social impact.
The event featured a fantastic panel comprising:
- Vanessa Sturman (Host)
- Chris Rudge, CEO, goodnus
- James Shorey, Planet Mark
- Harry George, SEND Coffee
- Cameron Tredgett, Cotteswold Dairy
Opening the event, our COO, Paul Grundy, shared a simple message that set the tone for the afternoon:
"ESG and sustainability are not driven by a single, large initiative. They are the result of hundreds of small decisions made every day."
Whether it's the suppliers we choose to work with, how we manage waste, how we support our communities or how we engage our employees, these everyday decisions collectively create meaningful environmental, social and commercial outcomes.
One of the strongest themes to emerge from the discussion was that many of the biggest sustainability opportunities don't sit within individual organisations—they sit between organisations.
Through collaboration, responsible procurement, shared learning and community partnerships, businesses can often achieve far more together than they can alone.
The panel explored a range of topics including:
- Practical ESG strategies for workplaces
- Circular economy principles
- Sustainable procurement
- Social impact and community partnerships
- Responsible supply chains
- Collaboration across businesses and commercial buildings
A huge thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to such an engaging discussion, and to Lara Zanotto and the team at 40 Leadenhall for helping make the event such a success.
We hope this is the first of many conversations that inspire businesses to make small changes that collectively create a big impact.
